EeSee
All Shumnams start with EeSee. EeSee is a Second Dimensional Portrait that initiates a meditation after the pre-meditation prep has been met. The requirements for EeSee can be broad and open to individual preference or specific according to the meditation map's instructions. EeSee is established by setting up a clean and uncluttered meditation space, free of distractions and disturbances, comfortable and inspires harmony with the surroundings or devotional feelings. During EeSee the eyes are open and the gaze is fixed before the command to close the eyes and continue with the meditation. When EeSee appears mid-meditation it means to open the eyes.
What you do before you meditate is part of Rehnadee Shum's Culture of Meditation and is explained in the following portrait of this Shum Compendium which is LeeEeSee. The result of LeeEeSee is EeSee.
LeeEeSee–Preparation for Meditation
LeeEeSee is a Third Dimensional Portrait that is part of Rehnadee Shum's Culture of Meditation. The Culture of Meditation has three parts; the first is LeeEeSee which is the preparation done before meditating using a meditation map. The second is Shumnam which is the Shum meditation following a meditation map. The third is LeeYuTyayLinReh which is the practice of keeping a Shum Diary, where the Rehnaa reflects on the previous meditation session and writes an entry before the next meditation session.
Preparation for Shum meditations or premeditation prep can be general or specific based on the meditation map. General LeeEeSee is left to the preference of the Rehnaa to create the space, time and state of mind for meditation. It really depends on the natural culture of the individual and can include a prayers, yoga exercises, scriputural reading or simply having a bath and dressing in comfortably strechy or loose clothing. If a meditation map starts with EeSee it means the LeeEeSee is general. If the map starts with LeeEeSee then there are specific permeditation prep that must be done for the meditation.
LeeEeSee is an outgrowth of Na'amm~ Shummef~ that espouses a spiritual perspective of life that is inclusive and universal. As such what can be incorporated into the general LeeEeSee of a Rehnaa is left broadly to the cultural proclivities of the Rehnaa–meaning any religious practice can be accomodated in LeeEeSee. The main criteria is that it should inspire a mystical mood for exploring one's inner-being.
RehLeeEeSee
RehLeeEeSee is internalising EeSee by closing the eyes. EeSee arises from the prepared environment and routine of LeeEeSee. When RehLeeEeSee is called the eyes close and the feeling of EeSee is maintained. RehLeeEeSee is a Fourth Dimensional Portrait that is also used as a starting point in intermediate and higher level meditations and to encapsulate EeSee and LeeEeSee. So when RehLeeEeSee starts a meditation map it will also provide LeeEeSee and EeSee instructions. When RehLeeEeSee appears mid-stream in higher level meditation maps, it offers a break in the meditation. This RehLeeEeSee will give instructions that will allow the Rehnaa to have a break while still maintaining continuity of the meditation flow.
VumRehLeeEeSee–Meditations to Develop The Foundation for Meditation
VumRehLeeEeSee is a Fifth Dimensional Portrait that names a category of meditations that energises and strengthens the Fourth Chakra–Va Lin,aa . Va Lin,aa is the portal of the Fourth Dimension. The Fourth Dimension is a dimension where the Universe and Innerverse intersect. Energising and strengthening Va Lin,aa is an important for the movement of a Rehnaa from beginner level to the intermediate or mystic level. There are many meditations in VumRehLeeEeSee that allow the Rehnaa to explore the wonders of the Fourth Dimension and in doing so strengthen this chakra to develop a spiritual foundation that is necessary for a Rehnaa in his quest for enlightenment.
VumRehLeeEeSee Shumnams are open to seasoned beginner level and intermediate (mystic) level Rehnaas. They require skills such as visualisation, memory, breath modulation and doing yoga poses. Before a Rehnaa can do VumRehLeeEeSee meditation maps the Rehnaa must first master the meditation maps to develop the necessary skills required, the instructions for which is in the LeeEeSee of the meditation map. The goals of these meditations are pre-enlightenment experiences. Among these are seeing the light of the mind, experiencing the mystic plateaus of the Fifth and Sixth Dimension, enjoying the power of colours and experiencing mystic rivers of spiritual force.
