Shum, Shum Language, Rehnadee Shum
ShumSanctuary.com is a digital portal for Rehnadee Shum which is a dialect of the Shum language. Rehnadee Shum is a tool for meditators to explore the Innerverse. The Shum language was originally the brainchild of the Late Sivaya Subramuniyaswami, an American Hindu guru. I, Guhanatha Swami, the webmaster of Shum Sanctuary am a direct disciple of Sivaya Subramuniyaswami. He was my spiritual guru and I learned the Shum language from him. Rehnadee Shum has innovations in the syntax of my guru's original Shum language that makes it a distinct stream of the Shum language. While there are some shared words and rules in both the dialects of Shum most of Rehnadee Shum's words are unique to it.

Shum Words–Portraits and Image-Portraits
Shum Portraits are made up of a string of Shum Images. Shum Portraits that are made up of more than two Shum Images contain a Shum Compendium. Rehnadee Shum’s Structure and Syntax has the rules of how Shum words are formed and how the Compendiums work. Shum Image-Portraits are usually stylised Shum Portraits that are created from a combination of Shum Images. They are stand alone Shum words that do not contain Shum Compendiums.
